Chester Le Bron was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2017 with a Bachelors Degree in Network/Security & minor in Coaching and then started a career as an Cyber Security intern in Risk Management at Northwestern Mutual. Post participating in the internship program, Chester transitioned to full-time on the Security Incident Response team (now called, “Threat Detection & Response). Chester holds a number Security/Tech certifications including: CISSP (Associate), SANS: GCFA (Certified Forensics Analyst), GCIH (Certified Incident Handler, GSEC, AWS CSA – Associate. Working on the Threat Detection and Response team, Chester splits time between investigating potential security incidents both on-prem and in the Cloud, while also building detections/capabilities focused on AWS. Chester is also very active in the community engaging in STEM outreach programs, including hi, Tech, and sits on the Advisory Board for Washington High School of Information Technology.
