As a Data Scientist within Medical Devices R&D, Kristina has taken the surgical complication prediction capabilities in VELYS from proof of concept to commercially viable product. Daily, she collaborates with teams across Johnson & Johnson, including MD Epidemiology, Technology Services, MD Digital Solutions, and external teams like Mu Sigma and Virtusa. Additionally, Kristina contributes to ad hoc projects, including a collaboration with MD Microbiology to automate routine lab processes that will save our lab technicians hours. Kristina is revolutionizing the way that we think about recruiting and retaining diverse talent. Most recently Kristina has led planning efforts for Black Tech Health Hack, a hackathon dedicated to leveraging code and technology for good while promoting a diverse talent pipeline within J&J. Kristina has traveled the globe studying languages and cultures and enjoys connecting with people from varying walks of life. She’s excited to empower young leaders from around the world to develop solutions to our most pressing issues.
